The Indian Navy is now keeping a very close watch on a Bangladeshi hijacked commercial vessel MV Abdullah.

It is suspected to be now used as a new ‘mother ship’ of the sea pirates from Somalia. Navy had recently freed a large commercial ship MV Ruen that was used as a floating base by sea pirates hailing from Somalia.

On March 12, a group of Somalian pirates seized control of the Bangladesh-flagged cargo vessel.
