‘Op Sindoor, a cause for national pride’ – Modi tells Cabinet

Soon after the day break on Wednesday morning on 7^th of May 2025, Prime Minister chaired Union Cabinet meeting hailing defence forces to carryout precision bombing runs on terrorist locations inside Pakistan and POK.

“Operation Sindoor is a proud moment for all of us”, Prime Minister Modi said while sharing details of the military operation with his cabinet colleagues.

Among the terror sites that were hit by IAF planes included Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Masood Azhar’s Bhawalpur terror sanctuary.

Various media websites were reporting that 10 of the family members of Masood Azhar were eliminated in the Bhawalpur hit.

Just before the Union Cabinet met, the Prime Minister met Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Home Minister Amit Shah.

After the Cabinet meeting, the Prime Minister Modi went to Rashtrapati Bhawan to brief President Droupadi Murmu.
