According to highly places sources, MPs going to represent all shades of political milieu from India to the outside world explaining finer points regarding Operation Sindoor were informed by the MEA that US did not had any role in ‘forcing’ a ceasefire on 10th of May between India – Pakistan.

Just before they embark on this important journey abroad, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri briefed members of the seven delegations.

These seven delegations comprise of present and former members of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. They will visit 33 countries explaining policy makers at the selected world capitals on India’s point of view exposing Pakistan’s double speak on state sponsored terrorism.

The first of the seven MPs delegations is expected to begin their travel as early as on Tuesday the 21st of May 2025.

As anounced earlier the seven delegations leaders are  – Baijayant Panda and Ravi Shankar Prasad of BJP, Sanjay Kumar Jha of Nitish Kumar’s Janata Dal United, Shrikant Shinde of Shiv Sena, Shashi Tharoor, DMK’s Kanimozhi and Supriya Sule of the Nationalist Congress Party (Sharadchandra Pawar) group.

Senior MEA officials will accompany these delegations to almost 32 nations that chiefly includes present and future members of the United Nations Security Council and the leaders of the European Union’s at their headquarters in Brussels, Belgium.

MPs will interact with top policy makers that would include, among others, current and former prime ministers of these nations along with their foreign ministers, MPs, opposition leaders, intellectuals, journalists and also expat Indians.
