The treasury benches agreed to discuss Operation Sindoor as one of the agenda items in the Monsoon Session of the Parliament beginning from Monday the 21st of July 2025.

Briefing media soon after the all party meeting the Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju stated that the Government is open to discussing all issues in Parliament, including Operation Sindoor

The opposition led by Congress party meanwhile, insisted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should respond on this issue particularly what US President Donald Trump has claimed that it was he who brokered peace between India and Pakistan.

Kiren Rijiju however added that the final call on discussions in both the Houses  will be taken by the Business Advisory Committees of the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha each expected to convene 21 sittings each till 21st of August 2025.
