It’s a historic space mission.
The Axiom-4 Mission piloted by decorated Indian Air Force pilot – Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, along with three other crew members lifted off from the Kennedy Space Centre Florida (USA) at 12.01 pm earlier on Wednesday the 25th of June 2025 onboard the Space Dragon Aircraft.
After about a 28 hour flight duration, the four crew from India, US, Hungary and Poland, will dock at ISS at 7.00 am on Thursday.
The Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his tweet message stated that “We welcome the successful launch of the Space Mission carrying astronauts from India, Hungary, Poland and the US.
The Indian Astronaut, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is on the way to becoming the first Indian to go to International Space Station. He carries with him the wishes, hopes and aspirations of 1.4 billion Indians.’’
