Although cyclone Asani was happening in Bay of Bengal, the MET office said that its having a direct effect on the temperature scale in the national capital on Tuesday the 10th of May 2022.

There was a moisture laden easterly cool wind in Delhi that made the hot temperature to remain below 40 degree celsius.

The IMD i.e. the Indian Meteorological Department has predicted that no heatwave conditions in Delhi for next two days. And that’s a good news all thanks to super cyclone Asani which is loosing its steam still hovering over the waters in Bay of Bengal.

The Met office is saying that cyclone Asani is becoming weaker by every passing hour.

It would gradually decrease, becoming 80-90 kmph gusting to 100 kmph over west-central and adjoining north-west Bay of Bengal from Tuesday midnight, and becoming 65-75 Kmph gusting to 85 Kmph from the evening of 11th May over the same region.

Further, it would decrease to 55- 65 Kmph gusting to 75 Kmph over northwest and adjoining, added the Met office.
