Soon after the phone conversation with EAM, Eli Cohen in a twitter message posted on X, thanked New Delhi for its “support of Israel and of its war against the Hamas terrorist organization, adding “our war is the entire democratic world’s war against a despicable terrorist organization” that is worse than ISIS.

Earlier in the day almost all the Arab nations in the region demanded immediate ceasefire in Gaza operations by Israel.

However, the United States warned that this would give advantage to Hamas to regroup militarily.

On Friday the Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu had made a statement regarding this stating that there will be no temporary ceasefire with Hamas in Gaza until all Israeli hostages are released without any pre-condition.

The BBC was reporting that the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza says more than 9,400 people have been killed in the Strip since 7 October.
