Going abroad and need third booster shot – well government says you will get it on priority basis and rather immediately.
On Thursday the 5th of May 2022 the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (NTAGI) recommended allowing the administration of precautionary doses before nine months for those who are travelling abroad.
However this facility of immediate booster shot is not available for citizens who are not travelling abroad.
India started administering the third booster to frontline workers, healthcare workers and those above the age of 60 years with comorbidities on January 10 this year.
Later, on from March 16th onwards this facility was extended to all adults above the age of 60 years.
